RIP Kate Spade

Kate spade was found dead in her home from what seems to be an apparent suicide. She leaves behind a young daughter and a husband of 24 years. It’s really doleful when a situation like this happens. She was one of the first of a powerful wave of female American contemporary designers in the 90’s. Kate’s aesthetics with bright colors and prints woo’d many thirsting after her designs even today. I have always been a huge fan of Kate Spade designs, especially her stationary items. Her Brand was my first designer bag I carried in the 7th grade. Wow! You never know what’s going on in the mind of another person. Very sad! She will truly be missed.
