WHAT CAUSES DRY SCALP?

Dry scalp occurs when the skin on your head loses moisture. There are several things that can cause dry scalp to develop. These include:
Certain shampoos and soaps
Types of foods
Cold weather
Change of weather
Hair product build-up
Hard water
Medications
Majority of the time, anything that leeches the moisture from your hair and skin can contribute to dry scalp. A combination of hard water, cold temperatures and shampoo containing high concentrations of alcohol can cause dry scalp to develop. Medications are also known to dry out the scalp and skin. Here are a few helpful must try's!
Tea Tree Oil- Add 10 to 20 drops of tea tree oil in 1 cup of baby shampoo and use it daily until you scalp feels better and is dry no more.
Oatmeal-Combine oatmeal and some water to create a paste.Gently massage your scalp with the past to remove excess of dry skin. Leave on for 30 minutes and rinse with lukewarm water.
Egg and Yogurt- Combine egg with yogurt and apply on the scalp. Keep it for 15 minutes and rinse.
Lemon Juice- Whisk a few tablespoons of lemon juice with a few tablespoons of coconut oil. Apply to the hair and leave for about an hour.
Apple cider Vinegar and hot oil treatments work great also.
