Disneyland

Last week, we had the opportunity to end our exciting summer with a huge surprise to Disneyland, courtesy of my wonderful Mom, Brooklyn’s LaLa. My mom is amazing. She will do anything she can, to see that Brooklyn smile ear to ear. She has always been that way. She used to do the same for me when I was young so it comes as no surprise.

Let me start off by saying I cannot believe it is already September and my baby will be three in just a few weeks. (biting finger nails off) So, grab a cup of hot tea or tall macchiato and have a read with me about our amazing time in Disneyland.

We started our morning with breakfast with the characters. It’s an addition you can add to your package which is so worth it. The kids are able to spend more time with their favorite charters. Brooklyn’s face was priceless when Minnie Mouse came over and approached her. That’s her favorite character ever. It was so much fun having dance parties and lots of picture perfect action going on. She ate her mouse shaped pancakes with Minnie by her side happier than I’ve ever seen her before.

We were granted early access at 9:00 into California adventure theme Park which is directly across from Disneyland. We had an extra hour in the park before the huge outside crowd entered. Brooklyn enjoyed riding all the rides she could in A Bugs Life area. The weather started off pretty cool but became extremely hot in no time. We stopped to watch parades and shows before grabbing lunch and a quick power nap for Brooklyn.

Once we entered Disneyland, it was up hill from there. Our first stop, Fantasy-land. She enjoyed the circus train, Dumbo the flying elephant and of course the infamous Mad Hatter Tea party in the teacups. We were everywhere in this park from , New Orleans square, Tomorrow land, Toon Town and more. The best part of the park for Brooklyn was visiting Minnie’s house. Since Minnie is her own entity(Single Woman, if you like it, then you should've put a ring on it, lol) she is able to live on her own. Her cute pink polka dot inspired flat was dressed up with that perfect homey feel. She had a beautiful birthday cake baking in her rotating oven made just for Brooklyn or so she says. Next door is where Mickey’s lives. Inside is so eclectic featuring vintage items from old Mickey mouse toons.

We made sure to take full advantage of the park delicacies such as popcorn(kettle and regular), funnel cake fries, hot dogs, and cotton candy. You name it we ate it. We ended our evening at park close hours watching the fireworks over the Disney castle. I am so happy we were all able to enjoy this time and I can’t thank my mom enough for this wonder experience for Brooklyn. I wouldn’t have traded it for the world. Memories that will forever be remembered.
