Day 1-Last November when we moved into our new place, we had so much extra room in the master bedroom; which was a score. Of course my wheels were turning as to what I could use to fill up the space. I love the look of benches, or chase sofas at the end of beds. That was it! I needed to purchase a super chic bench to complete my master. Well, your girl has an expensive eye which is somewhat annoying. No matter where I am at, if there is something beautiful that I want, one could be $14.99 and my eye would gravitate to the one that’s $39.99. (Eyeball roll). So listen after searching and searching, I come across this gorgeous Tibetan Lamb, Lucite style bench. It was everything I was looking for except it was kind of long for the area I wanted in. Lol, but let’s be honest on the real reason why the large bench was not going into my online cart that day. $3,120.00 people. Three Thousand one hundred and twenty dollars. (Shock Face) what? Let’s just say I logged out of life and closed my laptop.
Day-2 Let’s try this again. I jump in my car to head to a goodwill in the area. And what do you know, first stop I find the perfect size ottoman for $4. Very inexpensive and very very ugly. Not a worry in the world, I was determined to make this happen. I went to my favorite place in the word, High Fashion fabrics and picked up 2 yards of a beautiful grayish faux fur on sale $6. I went right home to begin my project and about 2 hours later the product was completed. I could not be happier with my $10 D.I.Y.
